Simon Leung – A scammer – Or Just A Greedy Person?

In this article I will do a review of Simon Leung and his marketing methods whether they are a scam or not.

I am Goran.

Simon Leung – Is he a scammer?

Simon LeungHave a close look at this face >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Why? Because if you want to enter the online marketing business you will probably come across this man, especially if you live in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or nearby countries.

Who is he?

His name is Simon Leung. He lives in Penang, the second large city in Malaysia. He was born in Hong Kong but stayed a few years in the USA where he worked at Google for 4 1/2 years.

According to him, he is a world-renowned motivational keynote speaker, award-winning Internet entrepreneur, International best-selling author, corporate consultant, digital marketing trainer, personal development mentor, and life coach.

Phew… that was a lot of titles. Very impressive for someone who might be new to internet marketing. I don’t know if these titles are created by himself but I must admit that these titles create the impression that he is very skilled and probably he is. But let’s take a closer look at him and his marketing methods.

My own experience of Simon Leung

I came across him when I was invited to a seminar arranged by an agency called ACE Success Academy through Facebook Ad,  where they invited me to a free seminar in Kuala Lumpur. Theme: How to make money online.

So I went there and the main person there was Simon Leung. He started to talk about how successful he was and that every minute money dropped into his account and he showed on his phone: “See here!he said and swept the phone toward the audience. Even if I was sitting on the front row I couldn’t see anything since he was moving his phone very fast from the left to the right.

One question I should ask myself: Why so fast? If he should prove something, there should at least be one in the audience who could confirm that money was dropping into his account, but no!

Next, he continued to talk about how he could help us to be successful as he was. At the end of his 2-hour discourse, he offered us to attend his two days seminar. The cost for that discourse was RM 4999 Malaysian ringgit (that is around USD $1200) but if we decided to join immediately he would discount it to RM 3999 ringgits. That is around $1000.

I was hooked

I didn’t know what get into me because normally I am a very cautious and skeptical person. But he was a very convincing speaker so I was hooked up. I paid the $1000 and really expected something special since I paid $1000, quite a lot of money, and who doesn’t want to invest to secure his financial future?

The day came August 18, 2018, I booked a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, took a Grab taxi to the venue, and went into the locality. Wow! There were at least 30 persons eagerly waiting for the possibility to earn money online. The woman sitting beside me was a mom. Her dream was to be able to work from home so she could take care of her kids.

The course had a name:

E-commerce Millionaire Secrets >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The program started and Simon Leung began his show with a pace that was very difficult to keep up. First, he talked a lot about himself and what he has accomplished. He had a group of people to assist him during the course, but the pace was very fast so the assistants had difficulty keeping up as well.

Actually, for two days, it was a struggle to try to grasp the lessons, especially since you wanted to get more info on the present subject but he went over to the next.

So these two days went very quickly, but I must admit that when the course was over, I felt quite empty and didn’t really know where to start and I was thinking was it really worth $1000? Additionally, if this was my experience I think 95% of the audience had the same idea, waste of money and Simon must have known the outcome of his course.

Information you can find at YouTube

Additionally, the information he gave us was how to access free programs that could help us to make money online. So the course was just suggestions where you could go to earn money not how to do it.

And frankly, all this information, anyone can get for free on YouTube. Maybe it was from there he got his information and put together a course with this material.

I must admit that he is a smooth-talking guy and that is what rascal people normally are, isn’t it? Additionally, many of his business partners have left him and I can understand why they did that. In the long run, it is very difficult to hide the true nature of yourself.

Actually, I found a secret recording where he talks to one of his former business associates and it was a little of a shock for me to hear him talking like that. It was a totally different Simon Leung where he actually threaten his former colleague with concealed words. In my ears, it sounds more like a gangster.  If you want to listen to this conversation you can click here!

Price: Far too expensive. SCAM!

My opinion: Scam? I don’t think it could be possible to do a police report but in my opinion, he is a real SCAMMER.

If you are a person who doesn’t want to get scammed but has a desire to make money online, please continue to read this post.

Is there any legit way to make money online?

I can answer yes to that question and I will explain why.

There is a platform called Wealthy Affiliate.

What platform is that?

It is a step-by-step system where a person learns to be a skilled internet marketer, especially within affiliate programs.

Affiliate marketing works in this way: You send a potential customer, let’s say to any product sold on Amazon and if the customer buys something, Amazon will give you commission and that without any change of the price for the customer. Amazon will cut off of their own profit and give it to you as a reward for sending the customer to them. This is a win-win situation. Everyone is happy.

The good thing about Wealthy Affiliate is that you can choose any niche of your choice. Let’s say that you are interested in health, you can take that as your business. The same goes if you are interested in any sport, it may be a basket, NHL, or whatever, this can be your business.

Wealthy Affiliate was founded in 2005 by these 2 Canadian guys.

Wealthy Affiliate has helped thousands of people to be successful in their special niches.

How does it work?

When you sign up (for free) you will be given a web page (actually 2)  with your own domain name of your choice and 10 step-by-step instruction in order to make this web page for your business. Remember you can choose any niche or interest you may prefer. Isn’t that appealing? All the lessons have a video explanation and after you finished one lesson you will be asked to do some tasks before you go further. Your passion will be your business.

Within Wealthy Affiliate, there is a huge community that will come to your help. If you have any questions, you just put in the question to the community and you will have an answer in your inbox within minutes. This system works 24/7 so it doesn’t matter which time zone you are in. This is what I call efficiency and you work at your own pace.

How much does it cost?

Let us compare to the course that Simon Leung introduced which lasted for 2 days and I paid $1000.

Wealthy Affiliate is free to join, but if you upgrade within 7 days, you will get the first month for $19. Thereafter, it will cost $49 per month. Compare this to the $1000 I paid for Simon Leung’s 2 days course. You can be with Wealthy Affiliate for 20 months or around 600 days of learning. That is what I call a difference!
